Gold Lake Lodge

Surrounded by hiking trails in the Lake Basin Recreation Area, this rustic seasonal lodge is 12 miles from Gold Lake and 13 miles from Sierra City. The no-frills cabins with canvas roofs have shared outdoor bathrooms. Upgraded 1- and 2-bedroom cabins add private facilities. Meals are included, and parking is complimentary. There's a low-key restaurant in the main lodge. Other amenities include table tennis, a volleyball court and evening campfires.
